Title: Reflective coursework on Leeds mathematics modules
Abstract: We will describe a new model of coursework assessment that was trialled on MATH2150 Calculus, Curves and Complex Analysis.  This was designed to increase students' awareness that feedback helps them improve their work (one of the key challenges in the NSS).  More broadly, it motivates students to complete weekly homework and to read the feedback from their marker, without needing to directly award marks for each homework.  This seems to have been successful and we would like to encourage other module leaders to adopt this model (particularly at level 2).
